The trunk seems fine but from this angle, it looks like you have some texture stretching at some of the extremities. What you want to see is the grid showing as clean and as accurate as possible. Like you don't want to see the grid stretched (if possible). Hope this helps :)
Jack is right! There's a lot of stretching going on with your UVs. You might need to break up the branches into individual UVs on your grid, and have the trunk as another separate one. Cylindrical mapping might help you with this.
