life drawing class-postcards
In this class we had to draw our model but this time we has to draw him in a small piece of card.
The first drawing was completed as practice before we could move on with our card drawing.
I used pencil drawing for these two as I'm quite familiar with it.
This one I decided try something new so used black and white acrylic paint for this one.
These are drawings I did by using pen.

Art class
During class we had to draw the same women as we had a few weeks ago. Firstly we had to draw her 5 times within 4 minutes for each drawing. This picture above shows my results. Then we had to use any form of colouring tools and draw the model for 40 minutes. (Sadly I lost my paper somewhere in uni so I'm unable to show you the finished product, I asked the caretaker if they did anything to it and I got no information on it).

Life Drawing Class
In life drawing class we had another new male model to draw.
The first drawing I was a little slow and the more I drew the more I caught up with my natural drawing speed.

Same goes with this one however I will add that I did put in as much detail as I could for the face and body and focused mainly on the shading and where the shadows are. Even though I didn't complete it i still drew in lines where the legs and arm will be so that everyone would be able to tell where they would be if i did completed it.
The last drawing was a 10 minute drawing so I focused the face as many would say that the face is the hardest to draw and the most people would be more attention to. I wanted to get the skill so that I'm able to draw characters faces more naturally and easily.

Life Drawing class
This time we had a female model that we had to sketch, here are my results of my effort. I asked the teacher if instead using easels that I could use the donkey so that I could rest my arm and that it would be easier for me to draw.
The last drawing the teacher suggested that instead of a normal HB pencil maybe I would like to try something with more colour so it would stand out. I selected a green pencil from the box and proceed to sketch the model. Personally I prefer taking my time to draw instead of rushing five minutes for each sketch however that been said I do believe that the quick sketches helped me with processing information on the paper faster.
Drawing class
Well this time at life drawing class we had a new model we had to sketch. Here are my results of my effort.

Life drawing art class (4)
After our warm-up of doing quick sketches of our model we had to use colour and draw our model with the surroundings, this was slightly difficult as I decided to use a blue pen for this and scribbled lines to resemble he shadows. Then we had a lot of time just to draw our model in a unique pose with the objects that are there with him.
Life drawing art class (3)
During life drawing class we had the same model again and we had a warm-up where we had to draw him in a short amount of time that the teacher gradually shortens after each picture. Then after the warm-up we can move around and draw any parts of his body while his was sitting down until the end of the class. I drew his head and body and then decided to draw the feet.

Life drawing art class (2)
My classmates and I had to start off the lesson where we had to draw our model again, as a starter we did a warm up where just drew our model any way we want. the first picture showed my results, which personally I think it turned out great although I wished I had more time.
we leaned about completing sketches by only focusing in the space between the body (meaning the areas that are around the arms and legs etc.) and then using our drawing equipment shade the body where the light shines though the mussel tone. The second drawing shows my results, I don't thing it turned out bad but it's nowhere near perfect or even good.
The last drawing was basically draw however we want however we must try to put in what we've learnt. At that point my right arm started to hurt and we still had time left so I didn't want to seem like I was completed or not bothered in her class to I shaded in the third drawing with my left hand, which is not the hand I am used to nor any good with. Sadly it didn't go as well as I hoped.

life drawing class
During life drawing class we had a model that we had to draw. The first picture I used charcoal pencil and then graphite pencil on the second drawing. The third picture however we had to draw different poses of him in under 3 minutes or less. the time for the drawing gets shorter each time, which I found difficult as it didn't give me enough time for me to analyze the structure of the body so I mainly just focused on the face if I can. The last drawing I did with a HB pencil, which is something I'm used to. we had to draw the model again except this time we got 10 minutes to complete it. I mainly focused on the top half of the body as I knew I wouldn't have enough time to complete the whole sketch.

Art class: the drawing of a clown
Thursday, 23 October 2014
Art class
In todays lesson we had to use any form of art medium to draw a balloon structure. I used oil pastels to colour in the first picture and then moved on to sketch a main part that I focused on, which was a balloon tied up.

First art class
First art class.
The object.
We had an object placed in front of us for the class to sketch.
My drawing of the object. We had to draw what was in front of us by using a pencil. This is how my work turned out. Personally I think it could of turned out better by darkening the lines I've already drew.
The space in between drawing. This is something I believe I've never done before, the class had to draw or fill in the spaces in between the object. I drew the main part of the object with the gaps that I meant to be the rope around the object.
Drawing in chuckhole. I ha great difficulty drawing in chuckhole as the feel of it makes me cringe. I tried my best continuing to draw despite that however I ended up with this, which I'm not too proud off.
